Omforma in collaboration with Future Utopia Community Key invites to talks and a workshop on power and empowerment (within the textile fields), in Uddebo 07/12 2018.
We are very happy about this pilot project and excited to see where we land.
Omforma is an NGO based in Gothenburg that aims to investigate and develop the conditions in the design field. In 2018 they will set up an exhibition in the autumn, publish a book and hold conferences.
Linnéa M.F. Larsson works with fashion production as social sculpture, asking questions about sustainability and fairness. She answered Omformas open call in spring 2018 and initiated this collaboration. She is active in Future Utopia Community Key.
This event serves as a preplanning activity for a seminar in Uddebo in 2019, intended to gather participants who explore social, political or philosophical perspectives on or through the textile.
We think this will become an inspiring and rewarding day of conversation in Uddebo with others moving in the same field!
