The Art and Research in Residence program which we are founding is a process-oriented platform with a cross-disciplinary approach. The main areas of focus are the creation of new social bonds, the sustainable construction of community and utopian societies in a posthuman perspective. Moreover we focus on the economic and social conditions of art and possible forms of art and social change in the light of theories that emerge from the spectrum of postcolonial studies.

We offer a retreat from the urban environment to insert oneself in a new experience of dialog with a rural community, its environs and its peoples. The program is dedicated to activities in the village of Uddebo and its surroundings. One of the objectives is to empower and respond to the specific needs of the local and social context belonging to the community. The program encourages and assists the insertion of the participants into the everyday life of the village.

The residency is open for any disciplines, thinkers, visual artists, researchers, innovators, creatives, architects and designers.
